Gloucester, Massachusetts
Kristi grew up in Gloucester, a town about forty minutes north of Boston. America's oldest seaport, it was known for being a major commercial fishing community until the last couple decades. Her great-grandfather, grandfather, and her father (when he was younger) all worked as fishermen. Although fishing regulations have changed the industry, Gloucester remains a popular vacation spot for tourists wanting to get to the beach.
